Dr. Noelle grew up in Horicon, with woods in the family's backyard and a thirty mile marsh in her hometown. She credits the nature walks she took with her father as a child with her interest in science, and she still swims, hikes and rides.
She lifeguarded at the local aquatic center and worked at the YMCA of Dodge County, and learned in that time that working with children and helping others was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
Around the same time her mother was very sick. After numerous doctor visits and prescriptions she was frustrated, and she wanted to know why the symptoms were happening at all. A family friend recommended their chiropractor, who was helping diagnose food allergies. Her mother was diagnosed with allergies to milk and wheat, modified her diet, and stayed under chiropractic care. Within months Dr. Noelle, her father and her brother had started too.
At sixteen she job shadowed the family chiropractor for a business class at Horicon High School, watched patients at every stage of life get better, and decided that day what she was going to do.
We work out what is causing the problem before treating it. That means going through your symptoms, but also your work setup, your lifestyle and the stressors around them.
No. A specific chiropractic adjustment is often part of it, but myofascial release, therapeutic exercise and an ergonomic change to how you work can matter just as much.
